Pizza lesson

At supper tonight, sitting before me on the table was pure joy. Yup, you guessed it- one thick, ooey-gooey pepperoni pizza (which my loyal readers already know, is the only kind of pizza). This time however, I went on my wild side and branched out. Normally, I’m not a fan of the crust. To me, it is just a reminder that I’ve finished the pizza part of my pizza slice. Tonight, however, I threw caution to the wind and ordered pepperoni and cheese stuffed crust on my pepperoni and cheese pizza! I cannot express how this changed my outlook on life in many ways. I learned that going out of my comfort zone, which after all started this whole journey, is very rewarding. New experiences fill your heart with inner pizza. A kind of lightness comes over you and the world is not quite as scary as it once was. Stuffed crust also taught me to jam pack everything that makes you happy and enjoy it everyday. Sure, some might think the crust is a bit over the top, but I’m learning one deserves happiness in whatever form it might take, be it grandiose or not. Looking at what was left of the pizza (which believe me was minimal), I was once again reminded it is ok to be kooky, just for being kooky. Who would of thought I’d order stuff crust? Let me just say, it was by far one of my best decisions. I might not look at thin crust the same anymore.
